Arrived to perform previously diagnosed repairs. Upon inspection of the system, found that the unit was running a heat cycle. Let system finish its heat cycle. Opened up the furnace and moved any components that are in the way of the inducer. Removed the inducer and dried up any condensation that might be coming from the flue. Removed the gasket sealing the inducer to the collector box. Cleaned up the surface and applied gasket material. Allowed gasket material time to tack up and installed the inducer. Allowed additional time for the gasket material to cure. Performed final tightening on inducer mounting screws. Allowed system to run a full heat cycle and checked for leaks. System is functioning properly at this time
Returned to perform proposed work. Installed a dual shut off valve for the cold side underneath the kitchen sink. One of the shut off is going towards the kitchen faucet the other one the fridge went ahead and ran new refrigerator line behind dishwasher. Right before hooking up the fridge noticed that there’s no hook up or waterline to fridge. Try to use a compression coupling and compression did not work informed customer of findings and customer is going to buy new fridge down the road. Customer also wants to schedule to for us to install laundry line with waterlines and new water heater along with a halo ion next summer. Checked for leaks no leaks detected.
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Installed a fiberglass merv 2 filter and removed the k&n airfilter. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Found that the inducer is leaking exhaust gas. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the fan is collecting dust. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Verified operation of the humidifier. Humidifiers solenoid valve is clogged. Found that when the humidifier allows air to flow through it, the furnace temperature keeps rising. Furnace is operational at this time.
Customer called in needing multiple things looked at. Customer needs estimate on adding a new fridge line, adding laundry room upstairs, loose toilet in guest bathroom, low water pressure on kitchen faucet, and take a look at a water heater. Provided and discussed all estimates with customer. Scheduled to come back on Nov 21st to install new water line for fridge and customer will decided on the other estimates by then.
Arrived to diagnose a furnace that reaches the overheat limit very quickly. Tested system airflow and verified that the system is moving air properly. Verified that the system is actually getting too hot. Continued extensive diagnostic with special tools brought out from the warehouse. Determined the gas valve is not operating properly. Also, found that the inducer is leaking flue condensation. Spoke with homeowner about repair solutions. Homeowner declined repairs at this time.

Met with Brian and he relayed to me that the furnace in the basement is not drafting properly and he would like to replace it as well as cap the flue pipe at the top of the chimney and move over to a 90% flue.
